Jasper is a variety of microcrystalline quartz. Mookaite or Mooka Jasper is found in Western
Australia. It is a fine grained, multi-coloured, silicified siltstone or chert.
Abundant impurities are responsible for its colors, a mix of reds, purple, yellow and cream.
These beautiful gemstone drops are garnets. They are a group of over ten different gemstones with a
similar chemical structure and are relatively abundant and greatly variable in color and varieties.
Red is the color most commonly found.
