"Cherry Creek" jaspers have such lovely color combinations and patterning I see them as abstract paintings. The sienna, peach and coral here are punched up with a lively patch of misty blue-green in the lower stone and the webbed effect adds further drama. The finish of this material from China is "glowing" rather than brilliant. Most likely it is actually a rhyolite rather than a jasper.
